Homepage Install on Windows 2000 Advanced Server
I am trying to install the Proliant Support Pack (PSP) on a DL 380 G2 running W2K AS.
The support pack completes its scan, highlights Windows 2000 in the left pane but does not activate the Install button on the top menu bar.
So I tried to just run the CP005171.exe (Homepage). When I click install, the dialogue box minimizes to the bottom, but just diappears. There is an icon in the lower right task bar by the clock, but that's it. It cannot be started and no task is listed in task manager.
The updated agents will install (CP005194.exe) but the Version Control agents won't install without the Homepage.
My CMS sees the server but does not pick any real time info.

Re: Homepage Install on Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Sam,
I am not very knowledgeable about Ctrix or Terminal Services - however, I do know that they can cause some strange behavior for software installs. Is it possible to stop Citrix and then try the install?
