How to configure HP Systems Insight Manager to remove supervision from multiple cards
Bonjour,
Bien cordialement.

How to configure HP Systems Insight Manager to remove supervision from multiple cards
Hello,
Our supervision traces us errors on network cards present on an HP Proliant DL380 G6 server.
The server has 4 network cards (see http://i64.tinypic.com/2im6gq0.png), 3 of which are disconnected and one is connected. (see image in url)
However, this generates many error messages on the IML:
We want to know if it is possible to configure HP SIM to disable monitoring of 3 network cards that are no longer connected? Or disable the monitoring of the 3 cards in question via the IML. This will avoid alerts of the type "Unknown", because when the IML gets heavier, it increases the duration of our check and therefore created latencies on the feedback of our supervision.
For information :
Currently we use Shinken (Thruck) as a supervision tool with Nagios plugin "check_hpasm".
Thank you in advance for your feedback.
Best regards.

Re: How to configure HP Systems Insight Manager to remove supervision from multiple cards
Hi,
Do you already have HPE-SIM installed in your enveiorment? as, I see you are presently using 3rd part monitoring tool.
Thanks,
