Does anyone know what the "event category" and "type name" is for the following event:
"
Event Name: Power Redundancy Lost
Event originator: server050
Event Severity: Critical
Event received: 08-Dec-2004, 06:14:40
Event description: The Fault Tolerant Power Supplies have lost redundancy for the specified chassis.
Chassis Number: 0
"
We have a fix in mind for this problem to upgrade power to the server, but until we can do that I would like to disable an automatic event handler for this issue only, but I can't seem to find it in the lists under event category. I've tried "Server Power Outage" and "Voltage Alarm" under event category "Proliant Remote Management". Neither of these stops the event handler from running.
Thanks...

Solution
In Automatic Event Handling, find it by using "where event type is ProLiant System and Environmental Events and type name is Power Redundancy Lost (6032)"
However, if you have several event handling tasks that would need to be modified, it might be easier to go to Options --> Events --> SNMP Trap Settings and choose:
MIB Name: cpqhlth.mib
Trap Name: cpqHe3FltToPowerRedundancy
and changing "Enable Trap Handling" to "No" temporarily. However, that will mean that it will be ignored for every system you have.

Re: How to find power supply event category...
I've set up a seperate alert for every system for situations just like this. I was able to find it after your pointer. Thank you!
