How to find source of status alert
On my console I have a server with a yellow triangle. While hovering over it, it says I have a HWstatus: Minor. Click for details.
When I click, I get the system homepage with no failed/degraded items shown.
How do I locate the source of the flag?

Re: How to find source of status alert
If you click on the Server name, there's an Events Tab you can use which just displays the events related to that server.
That can be quite good for tracking issues.
If you have thresholds set and they've been breached that can cause some of the alerts.

Re: How to find source of status alert
I have cleared the events, the Integrated Management Log is empty, I have run a hardware staus poll and new data collection and the HW minor event flag is still present. On the affected server's system page, the flag is next to health status and mangement processor status. I have the same situtation for 3 servers.

Re: How to find source of status alert
You may be like us and don't bother with ILO for local servers.
You can disable reporting by using the HP Management Agents GUI (via Control Panel) and removing the Remote Insight Agents.
Or you can connect the ILO and give it an appropriate IP Address.

Re: How to find source of status alert
SIM shows one them as not present. The other two machines show a flag for both HW & the ILOs.

Re: How to find source of status alert
HPSIM should recognise the ILO and the fact there's one in a Server.
It didn't use to flag the non-connected ILO as an issue until more recent versions of the PSP.
