Hello.
I would like to create a BIOS folder in the VCRM with all the bios and firmwares contained in the HP Proliant firmware maintenance CD. Is it pssible, will the VCRM find these updates and add them in the catalog ?
Thank you.

Solution
????
The Catalog of VCRM already contains the latest firmwares and BIOS-updates for all detected hardware.
(of course first detect hardware, then let VCRM download the latest software).
You might create a Custom Software Baseline with all required BIOSses.
Maintenance CD's take some time before they are produced and distributed, so they may not contain the latest drivers and firmware available. Depending on your HPSIM Automated Discovery and VCRM update-interval, VCRM will always contain the latest stuff available.

Re: HP Firmware proliant maintenance CD and VCRM
Thanks for the reply.
For some of my servers, the current bios/firmware version is displayed by the VCA but there is no entry in the 'lastest' column. I was wondering if copying the maintenance CD in the VCRM could allow to see tha latest ones.
Regards.
