HP Insight Event Notifier vs HP SIM

Hello, I have used until now the service "HP Insight Event Notifier" to inform me via e-mail if something is wrong on our proliant ml350. A few days ago I installd HP SIM 4.1 and activated there the notification via mail for critical and major events. Can I now deactivate the service "HP Insight Event Notifier" or uses the SIM this service to notificate?

hello michael,

you can deactivate the notifier. sim does´t need the service. sim has it´s owne mechanisme to notifier you via e-mail.
