HP Insight Management Agents Problems (Service Stops)

Hello all,
Thanks in advance for you assistance, it´s very appreciated.

We have a problem.
The HP Insight Nic Agent Service starts but few seconds later it stops.

The System is a Windows Server 2008 R2 on a ProLiant DL 380 G6.

Hello-
Is the Firmware up to date? FW DVD 9.0 may be worth a try. While 8.50 is the latest PSP, I have a couple of DL380 G6's they are on 8.30 levels. I've been thinking of upgrading mine. Also make sure to check the NIC driver, possibly as well remove the HP Network Configuration Utility (in Local Area Connection properties, remove) then download and re-run the driver for your NIC, mine is HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter you might see if you can get the 8.30 level driver. Mine shows 5.0.13.0 with date of 7/30/2009. Once at the 8.30 level you should be able to goto 8.50 without issue.

Hi

Firmware and Drivers are up to date.

A server reboot solved my problem.
Service ist running! I hope for a long time :D
