HP Insight Manager 5.3
I have installed HP Insight Manager 5.3 on a Dell server on Redhat 5.2. We have a mixed environment of HP/DELL and SUN t support.
Are their any issues to installing on Dell ? It all looks good at the moment although in the install doco it stresses HP as the hardware of choice for the CMS.

Re: HP Insight Manager 5.3
As DEL server is not supported the SMH it will not gibve any error msg when your CMS is going down . This may cause big issues . Thats why HP stresses to use the HP hardware .

Re: HP Insight Manager 5.3
You will not be able to use the RSP functionality, that's all of the Contract / Warranty stuff. That requires an HP Physical Server to host HPSIM.
