HP SIM - 5.0 newbie - new install - cannot connect to GUI Screen, localhost:280

I am so new to this tool that I don't know where to start and this does not really seem to be a known problem.
I have installed HPSIM-5.0 on my HP-UX machine, checked all Kernel Parameters, checked the rc.log to make sure everything started but I still cannot connect to the GUI Screen.
I will point out that port 280 is not LISTENING, so is there another one?
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

As far as I know the GUI listens to port 50000.

Did you run "mxinitconfig -a" after installing the hpsim depot? Once this is successfully done, you should try browsing using the URL http://:280. This will automatically redirect you to https://:50000.
