HP SIM 5.3 and MSA 30

I have an ESX box with a MSA 30 attached to it. I can see the MSA drives and status on the System Management Homepage on the ESX box, but if one of the MSA drives fail I can't seem to get the Insight Manager to alert me to the failure. Insight Manager can see the esx box and will alert me to power failures, etc but not to the status of the external array. Can someone please tell me how to set this up so that I will be alerted if a drive in my MSA 30 fails? Thanks
