HP SIM 6,0 False "Cluster Monitor Status Change - Node" events

Since upgrading to SIM version 6.0 we are receiving endless false "Cluster Monitor Status Change - Node" events from all of our cluster nodes.

Despite disabling monitoring on the clusters and removing "Clustering Information" from active agents, these continue.

We do not want to disable monitoring of the nodes themselves for obvious reasons.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?

have the same issue... not clear why it happens, but it started suddenly few days ago. I had to set Automatic Events Handling (to clear up all events from Cluster Monitor) and ignore this event for GSM SMS alerts.

Hi,

I had the same problem. What i did was con to 'Control Panel-> HP Management Agents' and cleared all the thresholds. I havent seen these messages in 2 days so far so i'll keep you posted

Did the event come back or did that fix your problem?  I'm desperate to make these notifications go away.
