HP SIM 6.3 Insight Manager Database Migration Problem

I have been asked to migrate Insight Manager from one SQL server to another. I have changed the following configuration files and have restarted the HP Systems Insight Manager Service.

SIM>\config\database.props  
<SIM>\config\database.admin  
<SIM>\config\databaseadminupd.tpl  
<SIM>\config\databaseupdate.tpl  
<SIM>\jboss\server\hpsim\deploy\hpsim-ds.xml      

I have double and triple checked that none of the above files contain references to the old server

The HP Systems Insight Manager Service service starts but the following happens

- Insight manager is tries to write to both the old and new databases. This has been observed from the SQL Server end and also process explorer shows that mxdomainmgr.exe is contacting both servers.

- When I stop the old database service the Insight Manager Web Console no longer works.
