HP SIM and non-viewable systems.

We're running HP SIM 4.2 and have atleast two systems that we can not view. They are currently on the 'Critical Systems' list, and when we try to click the link to view their information page within SIM, it just refreshes the list. If either of these servers are selected as the targets for a report, the report is never generated.

I suspect some sort of data corruption, however since I don't know how far back it goes (making a restore questionable) I'm hoping someone else has seen this and has a quicker solution then clearing the whole database out.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

1. Try deleting those devices from the list and then rediscovering them.

2. Check the java console for any exceptions. You might want to clear the java cache. Control panel->Java.

3. Also clear browser cache.

4. Also try restarting HPSIM service.
