HP SIM Error: HP SIM can access the system(s)' basic WBEM / WMI and SNMP data, but it cannot access
Getting the above error while discovering the systems. Work around it gives is to Quick repair. When I quick repair it starts up and throws the below things and gives the status as failed.

Subscribing to WBEM / WMI indications ...
Subscribe to WBEM / WMI Indications (DONE).......................... [FAILED]
Check whether target system met the requirements and all of the software require
d to support indications is installed.
Send test WBEM/ WMI indication from the system (DONE)............... [FAILED]
CMS has to be subscribed for WBEM / WMI indications before it can receive a test
indication.
Windows configuration command (START)...
Configuring SSH authentication (START)...
SSH is not installed on the target server. In order to install SSH, use a web b
rowser to browse to HP Systems Insight Manager, select Deploy from the menu, sel
ect Install OpenSSH, and follow instructions."
Set Trust relationship to "Trust by Certificate" (START) ...
Set Trust relationship to "Trust by Certificate" (DONE)............. [SUCCESS]
Added this instance of HP SIM to the trusted certificate list for System Managem
ent Homepage 2.0 or later.
Setting SNMP trap destination (DONE).................................[SUCCESS]
Update SNMP setting to accept SNMP requests from the HP SIM instance.[SUCCESS]
Successfully restarted necessary web based management applications to ensure tha
t all successful changes will be effective.
Running the Windows based repair tool (DONE).......................... [ERROR]

Configuration failed to complete due to the following exception:
Connection
to the target system failed due to Connection refused: connect.Target system mig
ht be down or does not have a SSH server. The network connection problem could a
lso cause this issue.

Could anyone help on the above as I am unable to send even a test trap.

What's the OS version and whats the PSP version?
With SNMP you need to have a Trap destination set. That needs to point to the HPSIM Server.

I did not get what is the PSP.could you please eloborate on that.
And I have checked the SNMP settings the server is pointed to the HP SIM server.

you may need to download the tool from the web.
also make sure that at your SMH you have selected snmp as the source from setting/datasource.

I have resolved the problem. Checked the HP Insight Foundation Agent and it was not started, so the HP SIM was unable to receive the alerts from the server. I have restarted the service and its working fine.
