HP SIM Install fails (4.2 AND 5)

Hello,

I am tryuing to install HP SIM on a BL20p server running server 2003 std sp1 and fully updated.

The install fails immediately after starying setup.exe with the following dialog:
Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
No further info provided (see attachment for error message.

Any help appreciated !

Hi Leo,
Make sure that you have downloaded the build correctly, and check if you are able to install other softwares..

I dont feel this error is something related to HPSIM. Also please check if the anti-virus updates are done correctly.
