HP SIM - Java Plug-In - I'm getting nuts
Hi All,
This must be a classic but it's killing me.
I've installed SIM 4.1 from scratch on a DL320.
Install is completed sucessfully.
After a reboot, I try to login using the shortcut on the desktop.
I get the popup's about certificates and end up on the screen stating :
"Please wait. Checking for Java Plug-In."
I have tried everything (I suppose) - uninstalled the java pligin, tried to log again, got the message to install the plug-in, did the installation, even rebooted the server.
No use.
I tried remote connection with 2 xp machines, one has exactly the same problem, with the other I can log in, but is very very slow getting info from java components (pure html is working ok).
Help anyone ?
FYI, I have Java plugin 1.4.1_04

Re: HP SIM - Java Plug-In - I'm getting nuts
Thanks to another thread in this Forum I found the problem :
MS KB867801 - breaking java plug-in;
removed it - now works fine.

Same problem here. Installed KB 867801 and Java stopped working.

HP should give you the SP1 Sim patch
SP26191.EXE
SP26191.EXE
