HP SIM monitoring EVAs

Hi everybody:
I mi environment I have two EVAs, and EVA 8000 and EVA 5000 with XCS 6.11 and VCS 3.11 respectively. So, my question is:
Should I compile the mibs from Command View into HP SIM or can I use the default cpqhsv110v3.mib?

I have Systems Insight Manager 5.2 with SP1 - Windows.
Thanks in advance
Oscar

Re: HP SIM monitoring EVAs

That MIB would be okay for the EVA 5000, but I believe you need the CPQHSV210V6 MIB for the EVA 8000.

Re: HP SIM monitoring EVAs

Where can I find CPQHSV210V6 mib, is it the same i got from Command View, isn't it?

Re: HP SIM monitoring EVAs

To generate the file use Command View. Click on the EVA you want, Select System Options -> Configure Event Notification and use the Get MIB button.
Save the file as CPQHSV210V6-MIB.mib. Compile and use that.
That should tie in with the version of CV that you're using as well as the EVA FW.
