HP SIM Node discovery

I was wondering what method HP SIM uses to discover its nodes. Does it look in DNS or WINS? I am having an issue where several nodes (120) will be discovered fine by name but also have 12 nodes that show up as just the IP address under system name.

Any ideas?

It's exclusively through DNS. Make sure those nodes are able to be resolved with both forward and reverse DNS lookups.
