HP SIM v6 Remote Support SOftware Manager runnin on a VM

hi - i am installing HPSIM v6 and on page 46 of the "HP SIM 6.0 installation and configuration guide for MS Windows" document it states ... "RSSWM and HP Insight Remote Support Advanced are NOT supported
on Virtual Machines (VMWare)". Is this correct ? I was running HP SIM 5.3 on a VM without issue - there was a Release note somewhere detailing the changes that needed to be made to the VM running the CMS software to allow this.

Hi Chris,
HP SIM V6 and IRSA A.05.40 are running and supported on a static VM.
The current version of IRSA is not supported on Windows 2008 R2.
