HP SIM was unable to create the HP SIM database

Hello,

I have a problem installing HP SIM.
Initially I installed HP SIM on MSDE without problems.
I had to uninstall MSDE because our customer wanted to upgrade to MSSQL.
After Installing MSSQL Standard, HP SIM didn't work and I uninstalled it.
I now want to reinstall HP SIM but I keep on getting the same error message :
HP SIM was unable to create the HP SIM database.

Can anyone tell me what can be the cause of this problem ?

If you don't want to keep the old db, I'd suggest deleting the "insight...".mdf/ldf files. Then run the install and see if that helps out.

Are you using the SQL sa account to create the DB?
