HP System Management Homepage - No Icons

Hi Guys

I first installed HP sys Mgt Homepage from the latest HP Mgt cd. When I viewed the homepage I found that I had neither agents showing on the right or any icons in the centre.

I then downloaded the latest PSP from the hp website and used the deploy utility to install the agents.

Now when I login I can see the agents on the right but still cannot see the normal icons in the centre of the page.

Where have I gone wrong? In what order should I install the software (It is just the homepage I want up and running at this time)

Any help on this would be greatly received

Hi Simon, I am no expert, however from what I understand you will not be able ot see these icons on the managed system unless you have iLo installed, and active. These features are only available with iLo.

Which icons are you expecting to see on the System Management Homepage? Do you mean the status icons like the green checkmark? Or something else?

Hi Simon,

just two ideas of what might be the reason:
Maybe it's a browser issue; in some browsers you can configure, that under certain circumstances pictures not be loaded.
If on the server there was a previous version of SMHP installed and you didn't uninstall it, before installing the recent version, it is not unlikely that display problems arise. I experienced similar effects when setting up HP SIM on top of CIM 7.
