HP-UX Server names not dicovered

HP-UX Server names not dicovered

My CMS is on windows. When discovery is run HP-UX server names are the IP address rather than the server name in DNS. Windows servers have the proper name. Why is HP-UX name not discovered?

HPSIM just uses DNS. You need both Forward and Reverse lookups to work, and they need to match. Try using nslookup from the server HPSIM is installed on.
