HP Virtual Machine Management Service & SIM 5.1
Hello,
I have a problem with HP Virtual Machine Management Pack Version 4.2.0.1009 and Systems Insight Manager 5.1. If i turn on the Virtual Machine Service the service could not speak with the sim. I got always the error message:
INFO - SIM SOAP access failed.
WARN - Waiting 30 seconds until retrying to contact SIM
in the hpvmmsvc.log file. After 1/2 hour the service stops.
I checked the soap port of the sim (50001). The port is available. I imported the sim certificate with the keytool.exe in the virtual machine configuration. The problem is always existing.
Both is on the same server.
Please Help.

Re: HP Virtual Machine Management Service & SIM 5.1
Where did you get that version number.
My VMM reports itself as 2.2
This is a new release and can be separately downloaded and installed.
Re-installation or installing the updated VMM may resolve the issue.

Re: HP Virtual Machine Management Service & SIM 5.1
I installed also the version 2.2. The Version 4.2.0.1009 is from the logfile hpvmmsvc.log which is saved under HP Virtualization Management Software\log.
