Problems with ATI Range XL Grafic Card on W2k Systems

I've updated my HP Servers with the latest Smart Start Pack 7.51 incl. the cp005754.exe (Verison 5.0.2195.5022B). All Firmware and all others are up to date and HP Version Control Agent report that all is correct installed but in the Windows Event log I receive an error:

ati2mpad

You are running different builds of the miniport and display driver. Please use a matched pair.

Since I've installed this driver the Server commes up only in VGA Mode! 640x480 16 Colors.

I've tryed to rollback the driver, deinstalled the MS Patch KB896424, reinstalled the lates Patch from HP for the ATI Card (cp005754.exe)....
Every time I will access the Windows Display Properties Settings >> BLUE SCREEN !!!

Anybody know something about this issue?!?

I've also seen an issue where CA's Unicentre Client was installed. You don't have that by any chance do you?
I never did resolve it as we stopped using the product.

Thank you so far for your advice..

Yes, I know there is a new driver for Windows 2003, but I use Windows 2000 Server and we don't use any CA Clients!

Re: Problems with ATI Range XL Grafic Card on W2k Systems

We have the same Problem with 5.0.2195.5022 and also with 5.0.2195.5024. Only 800 x 600 is possible as resolution. There is a new driver cp007444.exe, HP ProLiant ATI RAGE XL Video Controller Driver for Windows Server 2003 (5.10.2600.6024B) .
Can I take this one for higher resolution??? Or should we downgrade to an old Driver version??? Hint: We have iLo disabled.
