HPIM - New install problem
I have a clean install of Windows server 2003, Fully MS service patched.
After installing HPIM 4.1 (Typical), I get left at the screen "Please wait Checking for Java plugin".
I installed the default plugin.
Uninstalled everything, reinstalled, same result. Also browsing from another machine does the same thing.
Ideas?

Re: HPIM - New install problem
See the various posts regarding the latest IE Patch MS04-025.
HP are looking at the problem, should be a patch soon for HPSIM.
Workarounds are:
Install another browser - I use Firefox
Remove the IE Patch until the fix comes out.
A warning though, there are Web Sites that explot the vulnerabilities the latest IE patch fixes.

Re: HPIM - New install problem
Hi,
I have the same problem in windows xp and 2000 advanced server.
Can you verify if you have "showLogonScreen" on C:\Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\webapps\ROOT\login.jsp file? See if you have a call to this function on logon_onLoad().
Regards,
Carlos
