HPSIM 4.1-Issue with "Set Disk thresholds"
In HP-SIM 4.1, I would like to use the "Set Disk threshold" command from the "Configure" menu.
However, when setting CRITICAL disk threshold values, the threshold are NOT set correctly on all volumes of the selected computer. Only the C:, and sometimes D: volume receive the threshold. Other volumes do not receive the threshold. All servers are running PSP v7.10A
For info, the "Remove Disk Threshold" command is working fine: it removes ALL disk thresholds from ALL volumes.
Any input there that may help me ? Thanks

Re: HPSIM 4.1-Issue with "Set Disk thresholds"
If you have Admin access to the selected computer's System Management Homepage, you could try using the File System Space Used page. This is accessed via the computer's Homepage, then Insight Management Agents. It will show the triangles set at the warning and critical values and with Admin access you can adjust them here also. The threshold reset values are not shown here though so I'm not clear on how the page is intended to get used but might offer you something more. I've raised a query under "disk threshold falling alert not generated, not reset", so will be interesting whether you setup will function ok.

Re: HPSIM 4.1-Issue with "Set Disk thresholds"
Thanks..this is what I already do to set up disk thresholds.
The reset (falling) value is set at the rising value minus 2% : so for example, if you set a critical threshold to 95%, then the reset value is set at 93%
However, I do agree with you that no alert is generated when the value falls below the threshold falling value.
Can HP give some input on that ? Thanks
