Add this "smhoperator" group to Operator access level in the System Management Homepage(Settings->system management homepage->security->user groups)
Now Configure 7.0 VCA to point to the above VCRM with "operator" account with the OS password given to the 'operator' account on VCRM system.

SolutionYou just set the systems using the old VC Agents to use Operator and a password to login to the VCRM. On the VCRM side you create an OS account called Operator with the proper password. You will need to place that ID in a group that the System Management Homepage understands to have Administrator or Operator authority for the SMH (not OS). Then everything should work. If you have a large number of systems that you do not want to have to manually change the VC Agent settings on it can be done by using the HPSIM replicate agent settings option.
