HPSIM - Database Configuration Problem !!
Dear Experts,
For HP-SIM prepared, i do something follow:
1. Install Windows 2003 (service pack 1)
2. Install Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (SP3)
(user: sa ; password: pass@word)
3. Create Database Name: HPSIM (with sa user)
4. Install SNMP in Windows 2003
5. Run HPSIM\win_ia32\setup.exe
=> On [Database Configuration] screen. I filled
1. SQL/MSDE
On left panel
- Username: sa
- Password: pass@word
- Domain: myhostname (not join to domain)
- Host: myhostname
On right panel
- Used existing:
- Database: HPSIM
- Port: 1433
When i clicked Next for continue. I showed that
---------------------
Unable to connect the specified host. Please check the Host, Database and Port values and be sure the target database is running
---------------------
SO, I CAN'T PASS THIS SCREEN. PLEASE HELP ME!!
Thanks and best regards,
Vu.
