HPSIM mgmt agent for VMWare ESX 2.1.1

Does anyone have any insight on running the HPSIM mgmt. agent with VMWare ESX 2.1.1?

What version of the agent are you using and did you have any problems with it?

We heard from VMWare tech. support that they didn't recommend the version 7.0 HPSIM agent.

The Alliances Engineering team grabs releases of the ProLiant Support Pack and packages a tarball and installer specifically for ESX. This is posted at http://www.hp.com/servers/activeanswers --> Infrastructure Solutions --> VMware. The most recent release is with the 7.0 agents and is for ESX 2.1.0.

An update for ESX 2.1.1 is in final QA and should be posted at the above location shortly.
