HPSIM Miss-Identifies ILO

My HPSIM Server (vC.05.00.01.01) identifies the ILO interface on ML and DL servers as being 'Online ROM Flash Component for
Windows - HP Integrated Lights-Out (Japanese)' when it is actually the (English) firmware. The English firmware has a 1.84 release but SIM will not announce this upgrade since it believes that all my servers are Japanese.

Any ideas?

I'm having this problem too, it's seems something wrong with the actual firmware package, or its the vcrepository. It thinks I need the 1.82 japanese firmware. I've been manually doing the 1.84 english release on all servers showing up needing it; more work, but works fine.

Very strange we are also being effected with this problem all I can think is that this is a problem at HP's end... :os

This is a known problem and the fix is under investigation. The simple workaround is to remove the 1.82 Japanese ILO FW from the VCRM and rebuild the catalog.
