Hello.
The IBM integration document says that for HPOV, the following mibs are installed for IBM servers :
• ums.mib
• umsagent.mib
• umsaol.mib
• umservent.mib
• umshealth.mib
• cimwin32.mib
• umslmsensor.mib
• umsassetid.mib
• aolnpet.mib
• aolntrap.mib
Are they all mandatory or only some of them ? At least, the UMS.MIB is mandatory, the other ones refer to it.
Thank you.

Solution
Hi
the following document is explaining which mibs are registered by default in HPSIM and how to activate them :
http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/simsnmp.pdf
page 11
The following table represents the key MIBs that ship with HP Systems Insight Manager. Those MIBs
that are marked as preloaded are registered as part of every HP Systems Insight Manager installation.
The rest of the MIBs have been pre-compiled into .cfg format and are in the MIB directory for you to
compile, if necessary, for managing those types of systems in your environment.
regards
frederic

Re: what mibs are necessary for Ibm Servers ?
Thank you Fred.
Easier than what I did (download IBM USM mibs and compile them).
