HPSIM shows a server with Software Status as Major but only one minor

I updated a server yesterday and the only one update left for this server is showing as Online ROM Flash for Windows - Power Management Controller (HP ProLiant DL360 G5 Server) Installed Version 1.0, Latest Version 3.4, this is Minor, when I attempt to do this update it states returned result code 3, no action taken.

Now in HP SIM it shows this server with a Software Status of major, but like I mention above when I open SMH there is only 1 minor update.  IS there any why this would happen?

Just noticed that running a Software Status polling against this server from HP SIM is now showing it as all updated.

Online firmware software behave a little differently. When you update the ROM, the actual firmware isn't installed until a reboot but the software is so it is compliant form a VCA perspective. Error code 3 is unusual. Can you try and run the update manually?

shocko apologies on sounding like a complete idiot but when you say run te update manually... what do you actually mean?
