I have noticed that the ILO status in my servers reflect that of the server itself. Example: If my server is in a minor status, my ilo is also in a minor status. Is there anyway that change SIM so the ILO will not reflect the same status as the server?
Thanks,
Matt

Re: ILO reflects hardware status of Server
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on this issue. I would like my ILOs to reflect their correct status instead of the current server status.

Solution
You can accomplish this by turning off SNMP passthrough on iLO. However, iLO itself can only reflect 2 statuses: OK most of the time and a critical if iLO can't be talked to. No other status is possible. From that, it's easy to see the logic that if you have anything except for critical on iLO then iLO is doing fine.

Re: ILO reflects hardware status of Server
Is there any way to change the passthrough within SIM. So I don't have to connect to each ILO. We have 3000 of them.
