IML fails to report hot spare in use after drive failure

IML fails to report hot spare in use after drive failure

Proliant DL580-G5 running W2K3, latest PMP. Disk failure in a RAID5 config reported OK but no where in the IML logs did it report that the hot spare disk was assigned and rebuilt the array properly. Had to use Eventviewer in Windows and the Array Config Utility to assure the array rebuilt properly before we could replace the failed disk. Any ideas why Insight Manager did not record these events?
