Insight Management Agents 4.10 - Uninstall

I have an NT 4.0 Server running Insight Management Agents V4.10. Unfortunately you have to uninstall the agents before you can put an agent on which will work with HP SIM.

I have scoured the ftp.compaq.com site, but unfortunately I have yet to find the agents (I am sure they are in there somwhere) so I can uninstall them and put some up to date ones on.

Can anyone help ?

http://www.hp.com/servers/swdrivers and select your model and OS. Download the ProLiant Support Pack and don't forget to pre-configure the agents.

Thanks, I wish it was that simple.

I have got the agents, however they will not install over the top. I have even dug out some old Management CD's from the V5.xx era, however the agents on these will not install over the top of the 4.10 agents.

When you try to install the new agents (5.x or 6.x), it says to use the program to uninstall the agents. Of course when you go to add remove programs, there is no uninstall. I am trying to search around to get the source for 4.10 to actually uninstall.

I have managed to find the original source files for the 4.10 Agent installation. The agents were within Softpaq 8400. I managed to use the Remove function, then install up to date agents.
