Insight Manager 7 and Compaq Power Manager installation

Insight Manager 7 and Compaq Power Manager installation

I have Insight Manager 7 sp1 installed on an ML530 with Windows 2003.

I'm now trying to monitor an R6000 UPS and my understanding is I need to install Compaq Power Management software. This will not install as it requires Insight Manager 3.2 or greater??? This is on the same server.

Can anyone explain what I have to install please.

Andrew,

You might have better luck posting your question in the Compaq Insight Manager 7 forum here: http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/categoryhome.do?categoryId=266

As that forum is dedicated to CIM7 you have a good chance someone there will be able to answer your question.
