Install SSL Certificate on SMHP

Hi, i'm having difficulty importing a SSL certificate in to my Servers System Management Homepage. We have a Windows server 2008 CA and the server is running server 2003. I can create the PKCS #10 request and have the certificate issues by the CA. Then I can export the certificate and path as a PKCS #7 (see screenshot attached. however this data is not accepted by the SMHP. any ideas what i am doing wrong - the data in the PKCS #7 is not text - but lots of random sysbols in a windings style...
