Installation cannot be done on the local HP SIM CMS?

Hi Guys,

I have ran into an issue whereby I have downloaded HP SIM 5.3 onto an old Proliant ML150 G3 server, gone through the setup process, but when trying to install and configure the SNMP and WBEM agents, I get the following error:

Installation of agents and providers (DONE) ........................ [SKIPPED] Installation cannot be done on the local HP SIM CMS.

I have had this working on other servers which are both the CMS and had SIM agents installed.

Can anybody help me and point me in the right direction? I can't figure this one out?!??

The ProLiant Support Pack is not available for 100 series so this is expected behavior.

Thanks David - that would explain it. :)

Is there any HP software available that would allow me to see the health status of the physical hardware?

I suspect this server is failing.
