IP or Orphan instead of Server Names

The problem exists with some servers witch is Clustered and that witch is in DMZ.
instead of shoing right name of the server we get it,s IP addres(most when server in DMZ)
And "Orphan" name when server is in cluster
sometimes cllusters showed as IP too.
Alsow cluster servers instead of shoing Cluster name shows it,s first node name.
If somebody had such troubles and know how to fix it please HELP!!!

IP instead of hostname is usually caused due to forward/reverse DNS issues.

The most common cause of orphans is a service incident that causes a motherboard replacement and the electronic serial number isn't entered. HP SIM uses the serial number as the DB key and when it is absent it doesn't like it.

The serial number can be entered through F9 ROM-based setup.

I've didn't tried yet.
Also I noticed that the Orphan often is a name of Virtual resours IP on cluster.

I have the same problem. I have tested DNS resolution both forward and reverse, and it is definitely correctly configured. Also I have not had system board changes on any servers (knock on wood) so that is not related.

Sometimes the system name is the IP address of the physical cluster node. Other times it shows an IP address of a cluster "virtual" server instance, and sometimes it shows the name of that instance.

I have so many problems with SIM 4.2SP2 erraticaly changing names of things that I find its becoming useless for maintaining collections of servers for efficient operations! Don't get me started about its iniability to properly associate iLO (with advanced pack) to the correct servers!

I forgot to add - as a workaround I've been removing the incorrect entries and doing manual discoveries using the server name instead of an IP address - seems to work until the next autodiscovery runs.
