list all new files with installed software

Hi,

Are there commands that we could list all installed new files after software installation.

we have several version Java installed. Now, dba wants a perticular version Java installed again. After installation. How can we list the new installed files

That is not a feature of SIM. You should look into something like OpenView RADIA or Microsoft Systems Management Server.
