how to modify the "System Unreachable" event

Hi all:

HPSIM 4.2 update 1

When a system becomes unreachable (for whatever reason) I receive an email to the effect. "System 'A' is unreachable". I get the email because I configured the email settings within SIM.

How can I modify this default event to issue a command so that pages will be sent as well?

That would depend on how you access your Pager gateway.

You could just set up another Event task using the same criteria, but select Page instead of e-mail.
Or, you may need to set up a custom command and create a message based on selected variables and then call the Pager Utility.
