Re: Login from SIM fails
SIM will produce an access error if something tries to login to it with invalid credentials.

Re: Login from SIM fails
SIM fails to login as root to an AIX server, everyday at 0501. We only have about 100 servers.
Is it possible to stop root from trying to login altogether?

Re: Login from SIM fails
I believe I have found the 0500 culprit - System Automatic Discovery.
Will let you know in a bit.

Re: Login from SIM fails
I just skipped its IP address in the range.
Will skipping its IP address cause problems with the device that SIM has discovered?
Is it necessary to run the System Automatic Discovery?

Re: Login from SIM fails
You cold schedule it weekly monthly or just manually run it.
To try and login as root you must have either global wbem credentials entered or server specific. You can remove the global and just use wbem on specific servers or override the global with specific for the AIX box.
