Managed Tasks

I read on this forum that you can customize your system list, which I have done. Then setup alerting with Managed tasks againist these customized lists. Is this definately possible?

I've looked everywhere, event category is the only place I thought this selection would be, but my lists do not appear here, just the default list associated to the mibs I guess.

Can anyone assist?

System lists are separate from Event Notification lists.

you can also customized event lists, can these be used............or am I barking up the wrong tree, and it's not possible persay
