MIB Errors from SAN Switch
I configured two SAN switches (HP StorageWorks SAN Switch 2/32) to send traps to our HPSIM 4.2 server. I downloaded the latest MIBs, compiled and registered them, but I am still getting connUnitPortStatusChange events(30-40 an hour) in HP SIM 4.2.
Does anybody have an idea why I am getting these errors still?
Event Severity Major
Cleared Status Not cleared
Event Source HP-SANSwitch11
Associated System HP-SANSwitch11
Associated System Status Normal
Event Time 09-Mar-2005, 16:58:40 GMT-05:00
Description The overall status of the connectivity unit has changed. Recommended severity level (for filtering): alert
Mib data does not match the trap, make sure the latest version of the MIB is registered. The SNMP OID is 1.3.6.1.3.94.1.10.1.17.16.0.0.96.105.144.26.40.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.23
Mib Information
The associated MIB File Name for this trap is v3_0fa.mib and the MIB identifier FCMGMT-MIB

Re: MIB Errors from SAN Switch
I have the exact same entries in HPSIM with similar hardware.
