MIBs in HPSIM 4.1
Anyone know if:
Replicate Agent Settings
Software Deployment
Discovered System
these are defind in any of the MIBS, the alert status on these are too high. I've had to create a couple of tasks to clear the alerts, but I would rather downgrade their alert status.
Cheers

Re: MIBs in HPSIM 4.1
Not off hand, I thought Discovered System was just Informational, it is on our HPSIM.
You could possibly try Searching through the MIB files for particular text. If you identify the MIB you can change the priority in the SNMP Trap Settings screen.

Re: MIBs in HPSIM 4.1
Those are all internally generated events not associated with any MIB. It is easy to filter them out of any AEH tasks.
Discovered Systems event category = Systems Insight Manager Events
Replicate Agent Settings &
Software Deployment event category = tasks events

Re: MIBs in HPSIM 4.1
Joel,
Maybe put that on the wish list.
The ability to set the severity level of HPSIM Generated events.
Yes they can be excluded, but then some of the Event notifications get quite complex.
I like to keep things as simple a possible. Setting Severity levels would do that for me.
