missing red/green status on monitored Dell servers in HPSIM

I have a mixed environment with HP servers and some Dell. Since we're using HPSIM to monitor the HP's, I'd like to monitor the Dell's as well. The Dell's has the proper agents and SMNP installed. When a hardware error occurs, a trap is sent and intercepted by HPSIM and logged in the event log with the proper errorlevel (critical/major/etc...) BUT the system status in the All Systems console remains GREEN. That weakens the overview of server status.
Has anyone successfully set up monitoring of a Dell server?
(I've seen something i another thread by "Claypool", but can't figure out if the answer is positive og negative)

Not too sure what you mean by "The Dell's has the proper agents and SMNP installed."
The HP Agents are for HP Servers, and interact with the Drivers.
You are going to have limited status detection on Dell Servers. You'll be able to pick up Down / Up connectivity as well as decoding some of the Traps sent. But, that will not degreade the overall status.

It's a case of you get what you pay for. The "free" HPSIM is mainly for HP gear and works well for that. The cost of HPSIM is really part of that slightly higher server cost for HP Servers.
To truly monitor a mixed infrastructure you'll need something else. Or try Dell OpenManage.

Make also sure you have installed the 'WMI mapper' as part of the HPSIM installation and that the WMI mapper service is running afterwards.
