Being new to Insight Manager, I know you can monitor disk thresholds, but can you monitor CPU's. If so, how, and can you set the monitor for a period of time before it would trip an alert. Say monitor the CPU for 5 minutes and have it trip an alert if it remains over the threshold setting for more than the 5 minutes. This would involve IM 7 SP2 and HPSIM 4.1. Thank you for the help.

Solution
With PMP you do not have any control as regards when thresholds are triggered.
On the Agent settings you can set the thresolds required. But again as to how long the threshold is exceeded before the event is triggered cannot be configured.
I've found that the CPU threshold does not seem to be triggered on a CPU spike.
As these involve the Agents and PMP there's no difference as regards HPSIM or CIM 7.
