Moving the VC Software Repository - How to

My software repository is growing beyond thelimits of my C drive. I need to move it to a larger drive. What would be the steps to move the repository?

Stop the VCRM process, move the files, restart VCRM, change the configuration to point to the new drive/directory, rebuild the catalog.
