MS Cluster nodes showing up as IP's only
I have a MS cluster that is showing the alias, and one of the nodes names but the others are just IP's and deleting and re-adding does not work. Any ideas?

Re: MS Cluster nodes showing up as IP's only
I'll ask the obvious :)
1) All all your device names including the cluster virtual name in DNS correctly?
2) Do you have SNMP configured properly on all nodes?
3) Do you have the cluster agent enabled in the HP Management tool in the Control Panel? This is turned off by default when you install the HP agents.

Re: MS Cluster nodes showing up as IP's only
Yes to all. I also just got of the phone with HP Support. Apparently, there is a bug when discovering cluster services in 5.1 SP1. The only way I find to restore hardware notification services for the physical nodes, is to go throught he SIM console and discover each node by IP. If you have it set to discover when a trap is recieved, it does not work correctly.
