MSDE

I can not connect to the local database during the install. Iam logon with a domain account. The MSDE was installed from the HPSIM download

Try to enter your username in the domain\username format.

If you have SQL2000 you can install the snap-ins on the server and veify how the authentication is configured.

The user name or doamin can ot be changed
I have the SQL admin tools loaded, I adde my domain account to the admins group, sercurity is setup for windows and SQL at the server level. What am I missing?
